This Friday our Year 4 students will be heading to Virtual Camp.
Virtual Camp will begin at 4pm and we will be using Google Meet, a platform that we have become very familiar with during Remote Learning.
Today a special camp pack was delivered to your homes.
Inside this pack you will find:
- A virtual camp booklet. This includes all the Google Meet nicknames required for the afternoon. Also included are activities to be completed on Friday
- Camp treats to enjoy on Friday afternoon
On Friday morning, we will post a set of slides so that you and your child can prepare for our camp experience during the day. For example, setting up a camp space, organising your camping gear, preparing dinner etc.
For dinner, we have suggested creating mini pizza’s for a fun Pizza Party. Here is a link to a suggested recipe that you might find helpful: https://bit.ly/2GCO3iI An activity you may like to do prior is to ask your child to design their own pizza and list of ingredients. We have provided space for this in the virtual camp booklet.
Just like camp itself, Virtual Camp is a great opportunity for team building and giving students a chance to develop independence whilst having fun!
As this is a special experience for our Year 4 students, we kindly ask that siblings or other family members do not attend virtual camp. However, you and your family may wish to join in the camp fun after 8pm.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact your homegroup teacher.
Thank you for your continued support.
We are so very excited to be able to share in this special experience!
