In Week 6, students in Year 4 started their learning with singing ‘Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes’ in Japanese as a part of warm-up activity. They sang really well using the Japanese words which they always hear & say in Japanese lessons!
The students also learnt about ‘Clean Energy’ which has been promoted in Japan. In addition to other major renewable energies such as Wind Power and Solar Power, Sea Waves and Typhoons have become another sustainable sources. Natural disasters seem to bring us benefits, not only disasters!
I wonder who can explain how Waves and Typhoons make electricity and how the electricity is delivered to the city?
Hello Yumi, I really enjoyed learning about the clean energy in Japan! I got so interested when we watched the video about how electricity is made in Japan. I hope that next week we can learn more information about it.
