Next week we celebrate Book Week. This year the theme is Australia Story Country.

This Friday 19th August we will participate in an incursion called Fair Dinkum.fair dinkum

On Friday 26th August students are invited to dress up with the theme Australia. Maybe you’ll come as an Australian animal, a bush ranger, a famous Australian sports man or woman, in Australian colours – use your imagination and be creative with what you already have at home.

At 3pm on the 26th August we invite our families and friends to join us for our annual Rug Up and Read.  Bring along a cosy blanket or pillow and your favourite book to share. This will also be an opportunity for us to showcase our Book Week inspired art works.

I couldn’t agree more Yenuli! I loved the Fair Dinkum incursion! Especially the parts were the characters came out of the stories and helped Tilly defeat the Bunyip with the words Hope! Optimism! and Bravery!
